Having worked in face to face financial services since the early 90s I have built a strong desire to assist clients on a face to face basis. My goal with all clients is to ensure they are relaxed and feel that my guidance adds value to their current position and that they can come back to me at any time on all issues financial. In this way my clients have remained with me for many years whether they have complex requirements or simple basic financial needs. Each one is treated with the same professionalism and desire to assist in a way that reassures, reviews and offers ongoing service.
Tracey Barrie DipPFSDirector - Senior Technical Specialist & Financial Planning Consultant
I have been within the Financial Services industry since 1991 after taking a career break to have my family. My role involves focusing on the day to day management and financial administration of the company along with providing a senior Paraplanner role for all the Consultants. I also offer face to face financial advice and my aim is to always tailor my recommendations to the clients individual needs and requirements with the delivery of ongoing regular reviews to ensure their financial goals remain on track throughout their lives. Ensuring we deliver the service we promise to our valued clients is upper most to our core values.
Hannah GreenPersonal Assistant
I began my career in insurance and have worked in the financial services industry for the last ten years. As personal assistant to Barry Platten my responsibilities typically include: acting as a first point of contact, dealing with correspondence and phone calls, managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments, dealing with all aspects of pre and post meeting documentation. I enjoy the diverse nature of the job and making sure we offer a professional, friendly and efficient service to our customers.
Emma HurleyParaplanning and Technical Specialist
I provide the service of a paraplanner dealing with all aspects of pre and post meeting documentation for all of the Consultants. I joined the financial services industry in 2004 and have worked within both an administration role and that of a Mortgage Adviser. I have worked to build my experience and technical knowledge over the years in order to provide high level support to the Consultants at Aqua Sulis.
Barry PlattenMortgage & Protection Specialist
Having joined the team here in February 2018, I bring many years of experience having worked as a face to face adviser and helped many people with all types of mortgage requirements. I have dealt with enquiries from standard purchases and buy to lets to more complex mortgages such as self-build projects and expat mortgages. Alongside this I offer advice and recommendations on the appropriate protection available to ensure my clients have full financial peace of mind. I pride myself of providing the best service I possibly can and always endeavour to find the most suitable solution for each individual person’s circumstances and not just a one size fits all solution.
Kitty WalsheAdministration & Marketing Manager
I started working in the Financial Advice Service Industry in 2017. Having previously worked in customer facing roles I have gained excellent customer service skills and learnt to adapt to my new environment at a fast pace. In my role at Aqua Sulis Financial Management I manage all marketing aspects for the company as well as offering administrative support to each consultant and client. As the first point of contact for the clients I pride myself in a high level of professionalism in the service I provide.
Beth SelwayPersonal Assistant
I have worked within the customer service industry, in an administrative role since 2006. I graduated in the same year, from Bath Spa University with a History degree and went straight into working at Britannia Building Society, moving later to The Co-operative Bank. I have more recently worked at my local gym, as their receptionist-after coming back to work from having a family. My role at Aqua Sulis Financial Management Ltd is to offer administration support to Debbie Schmid, and making sure we offer a professional, friendly and efficient service to our customers.
Debbie SchmidMortgage & Protection Specialist
I have worked in the Financial Services Industry since 1997, taking a break to start a family and then returning in 2006. I have been advising on Mortgage & Protection since 2007 and later qualified as a Financial Planner in 2011 to enable me to offer full advice to my clients. At present I am specializing in Mortgage Advice and the highly important individual protection requirements of my clients. I pride myself on providing a professional and friendly face to face service and have built long term relationships with my clients over the years and strive to continue to do so.
